Are you thinking about building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on your property?
Per the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Section 8 of Chapter 150 of Acts of 2024, ADUs may be constructed by-right in residentially zoned areas. They may be up to 900 square feet or 50% of the gross floor area of your home, whichever is less. - Stand-alone structures
